Born on April 5, 1989, in Benton, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Edward “Eddie” Burton P’Pool and surviving mother, Angela Michelle P’Pool of Eddyville, Kentucky. A native of Cadiz, Kentucky, Lindsey was a member of Cadiz Baptist Church and attended Trigg County High School, graduating in 2006.  While attending, she was involved with numerous school clubs, her passion was band, and her love of studies.

Lindsey was fiercely independent and dedicated herself to learning and teaching while attending the University of Louisville, where she graduated in 2009 with a Master of Arts, in middle/secondary, social studies and a Bachelor of Arts, in history.  She acquired her Principal Licensure at Colorado State University.  She was a member of the National Education Association since 2010.  She received the Kipp School Leadership Team Honor and Awards in 2019-2020. She was a passionate educator with a career spanning nearly 15 years, impacting thousands of students across the three states she taught in.

Lindsey moved to Colorado in the summer of 2012 and began her tenure at KIPP Sunshine Peak Academy where she taught 6th and 7th grade students and recently transitioned into the role of Assistant Principal, a position she has held for the last three years.  Lindsey was a beacon of hope, steadfast in her commitment to being available to her students day or night, often sacrificing her own rest for the sake of their needs.  Her natural brightness, compassion, and curiosity drew people to Lindsey, forging strong friendships across the globe and leaving a lasting legacy of love.  Her dedication, selfless service, love for adventure, and bright smile will be missed by her family, friends, and students.
