Sylvia D. Murray, 85, Hopkinsville, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at Western State Nursing Facility of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Lamb Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Humphries officiating. Burial will follow in Fuller Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the funeral home.
A native of Todd County, KY, she was born May 23, 1938, the daughter of the late Claude Justice Bryant and the late Gracie Ion (Blake) Bryant.
Sylvia was a homemaker and a member of Chosen Stone Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Earl Murray; her daughter, Vickie Murray; her brothers, Joe Bryant and Steve Bryant; and her sister, Bonnie Day.
Survivors include her daughters, Connie (Joe) Overton, Crofton, KY, Joann Murray and Judy (Ed) Alder, both of Hopkinsville, KY; her brothers, Lee Bryant, Hopkinsville, KY, John Bryant, North Judson, IN; 4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
