Shelia Byerline-Riggins, age 66, of Hopkinsville, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Rockcastle Regional Hospital. The family has chosen cremation with a memorial service on Friday, April 19, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Friday, April 19, 2024, from 11:00 PM until 1:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mrs. Riggins was born on January 29, 1958, in Hopkinsville, the daughter of the late Jesse and Della Jordan Henson. Shelia was a member of Casky Baptist Church. She was a retired factory worker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Wayne Riggins in 2020; her brother, Michael Henson.
Survivors include her son, Chris Byerline of Florida, her daughters, Jennifer Chilton of Hopkinsville, and Lisa Miller of Texas; her brother Jerry Henson of Hopkinsville; her sister, Rita Henson of Cerulean and Peggy Bordeleau of Florida; 8 grandchildren.
