Funeral services 75-year-old Susan Hancock of Hendon will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home with Rev. Ryan Austin and Rev. Terry Hancock officiating.
Burial will follow in Flat Lick Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Susan Hancock, 75, of Herndon, KY died at 6:09 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2024 at her residence.
A native of Herndon, KY she was born December 20, 1948 the daughter of the late Rassie Sewell and Elizabeth Fleming Sewell. She was retired from Holiday Elementary School where she worked in the cafeteria. She was a member of the old Sharon Presbyterian Church and has since attended Little River Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband: Sammy Hancock; her children: Samantha Hancock (David) Brame of Herndon, KY, Stephen “Droopy” (Wendy) Hancock of Herndon, KY, Spencer Hancock of Hopkinsville, KY, and Amy Hancock of Herndon, KY; her sister: Kate (Harvey) Bandy of Sacramento, CA; her grandchildren: Joey (Jessica) Yarbrough, Jarrett Yarbrough, Cearra Buckingham, Hayden (Alexis) Hancock, Sydnee Hancock, Emily Hancock, Pacen Brummett, Logan Hancock, and Hadley Hancock; and two great grandchildren.
