New Stop Lights to be Installed at Main/Lakota Intersection

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has announced plans for a work zone with a temporary all-way Stop on Main Street at the Lakota Drive.

The work zone will begin Monday morning, April 22 around 8:30 and continue through Wednesday.

Workers will be installing new traffic signal supports and a new signal system at the intersection. Drivers should stay alert for bucket trucks working in and around the intersection.

Once the new signal is operational, the existing signal heads and supports will be removed. The transportation cabinet did not say whether the red lights will be activated by motion sensors or by a timer.
