Graveside services for 64-year-old Gwenna Herndon Settle, of Cadiz, will be 12:30 PM Friday at McIntosh Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 AM until noon Friday at Goodwin Funeral Home.
Survivors include:
Husband of 42 years, of Cadiz;
Son, Cody Alan Settle, of Cadiz;
Daughter, Tuesday McCoy and husband, Kenneth, of La Center;
Brother, Wilford Herndon and wife, Ruth, of Cadiz;
Sister, Polly Thomas and husband, Butchie, of Cadiz:
And four grandchildren.

She died at 8:46 AM, Tuesday, April 23, 2024, in her Cadiz home.
She was born October 18, 1959, in Cadiz, to the late Henry “Buck” and Kathleen (Ezell) Herndon.
A lifelong resident of Trigg County, Gwenna was a 1979 graduate of Trigg County High School and a member of South Union Baptist Church. She had worked as a waitress at Catfish House and as a cashier at Lakeview One Stop for several years.
She loved flower gardening, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Blanche Herndon and Doris Hayes.
