Police were able to gather security camera footage from the area and information from witnesses that identified a silver truck leaving the scene after the shooting. Information given to police included the description of a Black man with gray facial hair walking toward the victim’s home just before the shooting.

Police said they recovered the gun believed to be used in the shooting.

Guillemet’s next court appearance was scheduled for June 19.
