Mrs. Bertha Mae Quarles Watkins, 76, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center, Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
Services will be at noon on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Saint Bethlehem Baptist Church with Rev. William Catlett officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Church. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bertha is survived by her children, Celetia Quarles, Catel (LaJon) Jones, and Cyrius Quarles. Siblings, Ora Louise Bell, Callie Jean Chambers, Betty (Quille) Womack, Vernon (Janie) Quarles, Joyce (Walter) Henderson, James (Angela) Quarles, Clarissa (John) Hopewell, Lydia Quarles, Lawrence Quarles, and Bryant Quarles; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
