Dan Oganovich, Jr., 74, of Cadiz

A celebration of life will be held at a later date for 74-year-old Dan Oganovich Jr., of Cadiz.

Goodwin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include:
His wife of more than 55 years, Ann Raftis Oganovich, Cadiz;
Three sons, Daniel L. Oganovich, III (Tiffany), Jason Oganovich (Katie), and Ryan Oganovich (Veronica), all of Chicago;
Daughter, Sarah Wolfe (David), of Cadiz;
11 grandchildren, Daniel “Danny” Oganovich, IV, Nolan Oganovich, Emma Oganovich, Tayler Marshall (Jake), Maddy Oganovich, Jason Oganovich, Zach Oganovich, Ryley Oganovich, Allison Hejna, Jake Wolfe and Nick Wolfe, and two great-grandchildren, Hunter Marshall and Kacey Marshall.

He died at 5:42 PM, Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at his home in Cadiz.

Born July 29, 1949, in Chicago, he was the son of the late Daniel Lee, Sr. and Mabel (Sircher) Oganovich.

A man of many skills, he spent his career as a plumber and building maintenance professional before his retirement.

Outside of work, he had many diverse interests. A true Chicagoan, he was a loyal fan of the Chicago Bears, cheering them on at every game. He had a passion for the outdoors, finding joy in gardening and tending to his koi ponds. He was a lifelong fitness enthusiast and enjoyed working out, keeping him strong and active throughout his years. He also loved taking long, thoughtful walks with his wife, Ann, to whom he was a devoted husband and companion in life.
