Jo Ann Durham Green, 75, of Hopkinsville, died at 12:07 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2024, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 21, 2024, at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Russell and Rev. Al Seui officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Hopkinsville. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Christian County, KY she was born May 30, 1949, the daughter of the late Eldridge “Bill” Durham and Lorine Durham. She was a supervisor at Flynn Enterprises for over 30 years. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Gordon Green; and her brother: Herbert Durham.
Survivors include her children: Lisa (Gary) Myers of Hopkinsville, KY, Kenneth (Kim) Edwards of Crofton, KY, Billy (Richard) Gillette of Mayfield, KY, and Brandon (Tabitha) Green of Nashville, TN; her sisters: Karen Sutton, Vicky Morris, and Norma Sutton of Hopkinsville, KY; her grandchildren: Stephanie (Brock) Harris, Brittanie (Ryan) Poppke, Morgan (Jacob) Stephens, Colton (Abigail) Edwards, Greyson Edwards, and Piper Green; and her great-grandchildren: Blake Harris, Ellery Harris, Jase Poppke, Lily Poppke, and Jude Stephens.
Memorial contributions are suggested to be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
