Crofton Fire Department And City Hall Damaged By Fire

The building that houses both the Crofton Volunteer Fire Department and Crofton City Hall was damaged by fire Monday afternoon. Reports indicate firefighters were called out just after 2:30pm Monday after one of the fire department’s trucks caught fire inside the building. Officials say the fire damaged two fire trucks and caused damage to the fire department’s part of the building, while Crofton City Hall reportedly suffered smoke damage as a result of the fire. The Lacy Volunteer Fire Department was also called out to assist in battling the fire.
