The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a Freeze Warning in effect from 1:00 to 8:00 Saturday morning. Meteorologists say the temperatures will fall into the upper 20s late tonight.

The impact from the sub-freezing temperatures overnight can kill fruit trees and other tender vegetation. If you have potted plants that are normally left outdoors, they will need to be protected or brought inside out of the cold.

A Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. The National Weather Service in Paducah indicates these conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
