Hopkinsville Man Accused Of Imprisonment, Assault

A Hopkinsville man is facing charges after allegedly holding someone against their will during an altercation over the course of a two-day period. An arrest warrant for 58-year-old Mark L. Holland says he became enraged at the unnamed individual on Feb. 15-16, during which he screamed at, spit on, and shoved the person.

Holland then allegedly threw a heavy Valentine's envelope at them, cutting their skin above the eye and narrowly missing it. The warrant continues to say he sat on her legs and stopped her from calling the police.

Holland was booked into the Christian County Jail on charges of second-degree unlawful imprisonment and fourth-degree assault. His bond was set at $2,000.
