Hopkinsville Man Charged In Quadruple Shooting

A Hopkinsville man is the latest to be charged in connection with last week's shooting that left four people injured. According to Hopkinsville Police, 29-year old Joel Catlett was arrested just before 7:00pm Wednesday, at 158 North McPherson Street, on the strength of a warrant charging him with three counts of 1st Degree Assault and one count of 1st Degree Wanton Endangerment.

The arrest warrant claims three of those injured in the shooting, 25-year old Lakisha McMillan, 23-year old Darryl Dobson and 29-year old Robert Jackson, say that Catlett was the one who shot them. The warrant goes on to say that Catlett allegedly shot the trio while they were in, or near, an orange Dodge Neon, while Catlett was in the driver's seat of a blue sedan in the area of Vine Street and 2nd Street.

A fourth person was in the vehicle but was not injured in the shooting. Catlett was lodged in the Christian County Jail.
