While he has not officially announced his campaign for the White House, the potential Presidential campaign for Kentucky Senator Rand Paul got a big boost Saturday. According to cnn.com, Paul easily won the presidential straw poll that was conducted at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Saturday. The poll marked the second consecutive year that Senator Paul won the poll at the annual gathering.
Paul finished at the top of the poll with 31-percent, while Senator Ted Cruz, of Texas, was second with 11-percent, followed by Ben Carson. New Jersey Governor, Chris Christie finished fourth with 8-percent. CPAC is the largest annual gathering of conservative leaders and activists.
