 Tammy grew up on her family’s farm near the Christian County/Trigg County line and is a Christian County High School graduate. She has resided in Houston, Texas, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and Nashville, Tennessee before moving back home in 1989. She has been involved in local broadcasting, either television or radio, since 1990. Tammy started her radio career at WQKS-AM, which later became WHVO-AM in Hopkinsville. Tammy has worked in several key areas of radio and has full-range knowledge of the broadcasting business. Tammy currently is the 5p News Edge Anchor/Producer/News Reporter and also serves as back-up hostess for the morning shows on WKDZ Real Country 106.5 FM and WHVO 1480 AM as well as the 12 noon News Edge. Tammy provides “live breaking news on the scene” as well as photographs from the scene for our websites, along with providing  “live breaking weather coverage”. She covers several meetings including local city council, fiscal court, school board and other meetings in Christian and Trigg. Tammy also is the editor and posts the day’s top News Edge stories on our websites. |
