An officer with the Hopkinsville Police Department has been recognized for his efforts in DUI enforcement. Hopkinsville Police Officer Federico Rodriguez received the Governor's Award for Impaired Driving Enforcement earlier this week in Louisville. The ceremony was held by the Kentucky Office of Highway Safety.
Rodriguez received the award for his outstanding achievement in the apprehension of impaired drivers.
Public Information Officer Paul Ray says that Officer Rodriguez, along with each officer at the department is committed to removing impaired drivers from the road before they seriously injure or kill innocent people.
