Warm The Children Program Needing Help

The Hopkinsville Kiwanis Warm the Children program helped over 250 children have a warm Christmas this year, but organizers are still short on their 20-thousand dollar goal. Co-chair Willie Renshaw says the bill will still be paid, but not reaching the goal will cut into next year.

Renshaw says the program is about one-thousand dollar shy of its goal because donors have declined in recent years.

He encourages those able to give to mail their donation to Kentucky New Era, PO Box 729, Hopkinsville, KY 42241.

This is the 18th year the Kiwanis Club has teamed up with the Kentucky New Era and the Salvation Army to help families in need.
