Cadiz Teen Injured In Pedestrian Vs Car Accident

A Cadiz teen is recovering after being hit by a car Monday evening on Main Street. Cadiz Police say 12-year old Keith Hammond was crossing the street behind another juvenile but was struck by the car driven by 24-year old Kelsey Hill of Cadiz. Hill reportedly told officers due to the limited light at 5:45pm, she did not see either juvenile cross the street. Hammond was taken to Trigg County Hospital for treatment of injuries to his stomach and arm.
