Lacy Elementary Closed Due To N. Christian Outage

Classes are being cancelled today at Lacy Elementary School due to a power outage that is affecting North Christian County.
Communications Director Heather Aubin made the announcement shortly after 6:00 this morning. Pennyrile Electric spokesman Brent Gilkey says the power outage was reported around 2:15 this morning and is affecting 547 customers, including Lacy Elementary. Gilkey says crews are working to repair a downed power line that is north of Lacy on Highway 189. He says officials are still not sure what caused the downed power line.
