Multi-Agency Investigation Yields Chop Shop Arrest

Kentucky State Police say a north Livingston County man is facing stolen property charges after a chop-shop operation was discovered during a multi-agency investigation.
State Police Post One Spokesman Dean Patterson says 38 year-old Joseph Shane Robinson of Hampton was arrested Thursday and lodged in the McCracken County Detention Center following an investigation by State Police, and deputies from Livingston, Lyon and Crittenden Counties. Robinson was charged with two counts of receiving stolen property over five hundred dollars, receiving stolen property under 10-thousand dollars and receiving stolen property over 10-thousand dollars.
When police executed search warrants at Robinson's home and farm on Duley Road in Livingston County, they found a chop shop operation. Police recovered two Harley Davidson motorcycles that were reported stolen from Marshall County and Ohio, an enclosed trailer stolen from Crittenden County and items reported stolen from Kuttawa in Lyon County.
