HCC President On Leave

Hopkinsville Community College staff members were informed Tuesday morning Dr. James Selbe had been placed on administrative leave as President of the college, Selbe says he expects the issue to be resolved quickly. KCTCS President Michael McCall's email to staff says "Selbe is on leave beginning February 11" and "in his absence, Beverly Atwood, Chief Business Affairs Officer will serve as acting president." Though the email calls this a "transition," Selbe told the News Edge everything should return to normal soon.

When asked if back to normal means his return as President of HCC.

A representative from President McCall's office told the News Edge, that because it was a personnel matter, due to KCTCS policy, they could issue no further comment on the matter.
