WKDZ-FM Is An NAB Crystal Award Finalist

For the third time WKDZ-FM is a finalist for the National Association of Broadcasters Crystal Radio Award. The National Association of Broadcasters announced the list of finalists this week, with WKDZ-FM being honored with other stations such as WSB in Atlanta, KROQ-FM in Los Angeles, and WQHT-FM in New York. Ham Broadcasting General Manager Beth Mann says it humbling to be a finalist.

The application for the Crystal Radio Award highlights WKDZ-FM's involvement in more than one hundred community events in 2012. Ham Broadcasting President D. J. Everett says "the award is truly about super-serving our local community".

The finalists will be honored when the Crystal Radio Awards are presented Tuesday April 9th during the NAB Radio Luncheon in Las Vegas. Author and Broadcast personality John Tesh will be the keynote speaker, with national radio personality Dave Ramsey to be inducted into the NAB Broadcasting Hall of Fame.
