Although defense attorneys for Micah Holland are looking at possible exculpitory evidence, Christian Circuit Judge Andrew Self is setting aside a week for his murder trial at the beginning of November. Commonwealth's Attorney Lynn Pryor and Holland's attorney John Herbison discussed a supposed interview with Christian County Deputy Sheriff Nichols before Holland was officially in custody.
Immediately after, Herbison informed Judge Self he had evidence that could clear his client in the murder of Joey Weatherwax.
Judge Self set aside November 4th through the 8th for a jury trial, and told Herbison a suppression hearing would be scheduled after proper paperwork was filed.
