Christian County Grand Jury Indicts Several People

The two Hopkinsville women accused of abusing a Belmont Elementary School student will now answer to the charges in Christian Circuit Court after being among the thirteen people indicted Friday by the Grand Jury. According to court records, 32-year old Paulette Godfrey, of West 9th Street, and 28-year old Latoya Stampley, of East 3rd Street, were both indicted on three counts of Assault. The original Hopkinsville Police report says the two women admitted to spanking an eight-year old until his bottom was raw and then rubbing alcohol on it to make it hurt worst.

Also indicted was 21-year old Cody Austin, of Glenview Drive, for 3rd Degree Rape, after allegedly having sex with a fifteen-year old girl. 21-year old Markethia Mosby, of Pennyrile Apartments, was indicted for 1st Degree Wanton Endangerment after she allegedly left her three-month old son on the stoop of grandmother's house without letting anyone know before hand she was leaving him and then texted her uncle, who was in the shower.

39-year old David Davenport, of Pembroke, and 29-year old Joseph Dixon, of Oak Grove, were both indicted for Wanton Endangerment and Assault for two unrelated incidents. 69-year old Fred Luttrell, of Boddie Road, Herndon, was indicted for Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

21-year old Roberto Balboa, of Allensville Street, in Elkton, was indicted on charges of Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon, Possession of Meth, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Fleeing and Evading, Resisting Arrest, and Possession of Marijuana. 53-year old James Haskins, of East 19th Street, was indicted for 2nd Degree Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Trafficking in Marijuana, Resisting Arrest, and 2nd Degree Disorderly Conduct.

25-year old Joshua David Sova, of Tennessee Street, was indicted on charges of 1st Degree Promoting Contraband and Trafficking in a Controlled Substance. 49-year old Deborah May, of Clarksville, was indicted on two counts of 2nd Degree Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument. 50-year old Donald Beamon, of Russellville Road, was indicted on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Failure to Signal. 21-year old Joshua Crawford was indicted for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
