Update-2nd Timbers Robbery Suspect in Custody

A second suspect is in custody in connection with Saturday night's robbery at Timber's Steak and Grill, in Canton. Trigg County Sheriff Ray Burnam says Tavaras Poindexter, of Cadiz, was arrested late Wednesday night in Fargo, North Dakota. Sheriff Burnam says the department obtained an arrest warrant for Poindexter Wednesday night, with law enforcement officials in North Dakota taking Poindexter into custody.

Tuesday night, Sheriff Burnam announced that 36-year old Michelle Wease, who was an employee of the restaurant, had been charged with Complicity to 1st Degree Robbery. The Sheriff says more arrests are expected in connection with the robbery that occurred around 11:00 Saturday night, when two black males jumped restaurant owner Carolyn Brown in the parking lot, taking her purse and an undisclosed amount of money from the restaurant.
