Escaped Inmate Back In Custody

Christian County Jail Officials say the only inmate to ever escape their current facility has been captured almost 900 miles from Hopkinsville. Chrisitan County Jailer Brad Boyd says the escaped inmate known as Jose Feliciano has been captured.

Boyd says Feliciano was captured under another assumed name but was identified through the Nation Crime Information Center. Boyd says officials from New York called to let him know the inmate was in custody and that once he is processed through their system he will be charged and returned to Hopkinsville.

Feliciano aka Luis Dechaudens, aka Luis Raul Dechoudens Espinal, escaped in the early morning of July 17th and was last heard from in the Clarksville area. He is also wanted by Clarksville Police for charges including Statutory Rape, Theft, Evading, and Aggravated Burglary.
