Christian County Schools Get Underway Wednesday

The first day of school is always exciting and a little nerve wracking, but students and staff alike in Christian County are off to a great start. Several elementary schools hosted "boohoo breakfasts" for kindergarten parents, including Sinking Fork Elementary, where Samantha Peterson dropped of her daughter.

Principal Kathleen Carter gave the parents a little overview of the start of school.

Meanwhile, across town, Holiday Elementary School Principal Brooke Stinson wanted to start the morning off with excitement.

Stinson is one of several new principals in the district, but she wants parents to know she is ready for the challenge.
