Trigg Extension Agent Sent Off With Luncheon

After eight years serving as the Trigg County Extension Agent, David Fourquean is moving on to the private agriculture sector. Fourquean says he is proud of the time he spent helping build up agriculture knowledge in Trigg County.

He adds it is those relationships he's built over the years that he will miss.

Fourquean will not be going far, as he recently took a position as the assistant manager at Cundiff Farms.

Though it is not known how soon the extension agent position will be filled, he says the person needs to be dedicated to the community.

At a farewell luncheon held for Fourquean Tuesday afternoon, a couple dozen people came to thank him for his years of service and the time he spent working with farmers and the community.
