Black Patch Parade To Honor Hometown Hero

The Annual Black Patch Festival in Princeton is this coming weekend and they are honoring a resident who recently went through a tough medical procedure.  Times Leader Publisher Chip Hutcheson says Byron Pool has been named grand marshall of the parade.

He adds Pool has a long work history in Caldwell County.

Althought it was a tough fight, Pool is on the mend.

The parade will start Friday evening at 5:00pm.
