Pink Out 2013

Pink Out 2013

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Because early detection is the best defense against this disease, WKDZ/WHVO Radio has partnered with area businesses and Relay For Life, in both Trigg and Christian Counties, to further awareness and provide screening information. Our goal is to educate and bring about the earliest detection possible for the women of our community.

"Pink Out 2013" will be held at the WKDZ/WHVO Metro Plaza on Friday, October 25, 2013, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. The event will feature a one mile walk, educational information booths from area health agencies, survivors from our community, and more.

This is our 4th year to present Pink Out to the community. Everyone is invited to come join in the sea of pink on Friday, October 25th. Bring your mother, daughter, or friend to Pink Out 2013, but above all, ask them this question: "Have you scheduled your mammogram?" Our new Pink Out 2013 t-shirts will be available as well as some other Pink Out items. Donations received will be divided between Christian County and Trigg County Relay for Life.
