United Way Walk And School Challenge

Officials are excited about the number of walkers to turn out for the 2nd Annual United Way Walk and School Challenge hosted by the Christian County School System. District Spokeswoman, Heather Lancaster says the walk is part of the schools giving back to the non-profit.

United Way Executive Director, Jennifer Maddux says they are pleased by the support of the district.

Lancaster adds teachers and school staff are competing against each other for bragging rights.

Maddux says they will have a report of how the "Put the U in Superhero" campaign is going in a few weeks.

The walk was held at the Stadium of Champions Tuesday afternoon.
