Singing Their Stories
The Concert

On Friday November 8, SAFE (Soldiers and Families Embraced) and The Beat of Life are hosting their 1st annual Singing Their Stories benefit concert at Austin Peay University.

September 20-22, Songwriters, soldiers, and staff from SAFE and The Beat of Life gathered for the Songwriters for Soldiers retreat. Here, veterans battling PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and the residual effects of TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) teamed up with hit songwriters from Nashville and beyond to write songs that tell very personal stories about the war they've carried home.

Singing Their Stories is the culmination o
