Final HCC Presidential Candidates Meet Community

Now that all four Hopkinsville Community College presidential candidates have met with the community and college stakeholders, the Board of Directors and Kentucky Community and Technical College President Dr Michael McCall are expected to name a president in the next 24 hours. The community spoke with Doctors Chris Ezell and Juston Pate Thursday afternoon and expressed the same concerns about continuing and growing the programs already in place.

Trigg Countian, Ben Cundiff asked Ezell what he saw as areas of improvement for the college.

Cundiff, Dr Scott Sutherland and Lanita Ballard asked Pate about the working relationship with K-12 and he talked about the recent Middle College started at Maysville.

The Board of Directors is meeting with Dr McCall to discuss which of the four candidates stands out and will bring the most to the college if chosen. Once a decision is made, Dr McCall is expected to extend a job offer to the candidate.
