New Home Key Presentation

Hopkinsville officials presented the keys to a new house to an inner city resident Thursday afternoon, as part of the Hopkinsville Home Improvement Program. Mayor Dan Kemp says this new home is part of their effort to revitalize Hopkinsville's inner city.

Kemp says he is proud of the work that has been done in the inner city during his tenure.

Kemp turned over the keys of the new home on Long Street to Mary Newell. Newell is the wife of the late Joe Newell, former pastor of Moores Baptist Church in Hopkinsville.
