Rosedale Vandals Probated

The young men convicted of vandalizing a local cemetery, causing thousands of dollars in damage, will not be seeing any jail time after formal sentencing Monday. Commonwealth's Attorney Lynn Pryor says Christian Circuit Judge John Atkins issued the formal sentence for James Russell and Phillip Walker.

Pryor says the judge showed some leniency in probating the jail time.

In between his guilty plea and sentencing, Walker had his release revoked, but Pryor says that did not affect his sentence.

The third perpetrator in the Rosedale Cemetery vandalism, George Hill, will appear for sentencing January 2nd. Pryor says barring some extenuating circumstances, Hill will see the same sentence Walker and Russell received.
