Murder Charge In Fatal Eagle Way Crash

A Hopkinsville man was killed and a Hopkinsville woman has been charged with Murder in connection with a three vehicle accident that occurred Monday night on Eagle Way Bypass. Christian County Deputy Coroner Zach Lamb Tuesday morning identified the victim as 28-year old Brandon Toliver. According to Hopkinsville Police, Toliver was the passenger in a vehicle driven by 33-year old Jessica Tucker, of Hopkinsville, which was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes, when she struck the right front of a vehicle driven by 24-year old Brandi Cordero, of Hopkinsville.

The impact of the collision caused Cordero's vehicle to overturn, and Tucker's vehicle to spin left into the right hand westbound lane, where it was struck by a vehicle driven by 19-year old Cameron Allen, of Hopkinsville. Toliver was pronounced dead at the scene by Christian County Deputy Coroner Zach Lamb. Tucker, Cordero, and Allen, were all transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center following the crash.

Tucker has been charged with Murder, two counts of 1st Degree Assault, and DUI. She was lodged in the Christian County Jail on $100,000 bond. The accident occurred around 9:20pm, near Hopkinsville Fire Department Station Four.
