Body Of Woman Recovered From Lake Barkley

State Police have identified the woman who fell into the water at Prizer Point Marina early Tuesday morning. The body of 62-year old Mary Hatley of Evansville was recovered around 11:50 Tuesday. The News Edge was on scene when Hatley's body was found 50 to 75 feet from the dock where the boat was parked.

Trigg County Coroner John Mark Vinson says Hatley was on the houseboat with her husband and another couple from Evansville when she apparently fell off the boat overnight.

He says at this time it appears Hatley fell into the water and drowned.

State Police Post 1 Information Officer Jay Thomas says alcohol may have been a factor in the incident.

The boat, Temporary Sanity, owned by Doug and Laura Edwards of Evansville, was parked at the end of the third pier at Prizer Point. The investigation into the incident is continuing by Kentucky State Police.
