Third Candidates Files For Sheriff

A third candidate is filing to run for Christian County Sheriff. Ross Littlepage filed Friday afternoon as a Democrat. During his 22 years of law enforcement service, Littlepage has served as the Morton's Gap Police Chief, a deputy with the Christian County Sheriff's Department and an investigator for the Christian County Public Defender's Office. He says it is time for change in the county law enforcement.

During a news conference Friday evening, Littlepage outlined his goal if elected sheriff.

He will face Christian County Sheriff Livy Leavell in a primary race in May. Chuck Inman, a former detective with the Hopkinsville Police Department, has also filed to run for sheriff, as a Republican.
