Christian County Chamber President Final Day Friday

The Christian County Chamber of Commerce will soon be under new leadership, even if temporarily, with the official departure of President Carter Hendricks Friday. In a letter from Hendricks Thursday, he says it has been an honor to serve as a representative of members and businesses in the community over the past 9 years and he will miss all the people.

During his time at the Chamber, Hendricks also served as the Military Affairs Director, the Vice President of Community and Military Affairs, Senior Vice President, Interim Workforce Development Director and Interim Membership Director. He says it is because of the diverse assignments that he has come to respect and value every aspect and program of the Chamber and the community.

Hendricks says the Chamber has an amazing Board of Directors who will be selecting a new President and he is sure they will find the right person.

He says he will miss the staff at the Chamber, but will be back to help when needed.

The letter from Hendricks was sent to all businesses affiliated with the chamber and community members on their email list.
