Mason Selected As Chamber President And CEO



The Christian County Chamber of Commerce has hired a Hopkinsville native as its new President and CEO. Marian Mason will take over the position at the Chamber on February 10th. Mason was born and spent the her first 12 years in Hopkinsville attending St. Peter's and Paul Elementary School and Attucks Middle School before moving to Murray. Mason has been serving in a similar capacity for the past two years at the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce in North Carolina. Chamber Board Chairman Spencer Kilijian say they are excited to have Mason join the Chamber.


   
Kilijian says while it is nice to have a Hopkinsville native in the job, it wasn't a priority for them.


   
Mason says she is excited to join the Christian County Chamber team and looking forward to returning to Hoptown and getting to know the community again.
