There is now a contested race for Judge Executive in Trigg County. According to Trigg County Clerk Doris McGill, Linton Road resident James Kilcoyne filed papers Thursday morning to be on the Republican primary ballot as a candidate for Trigg County Judge Executive. Currently, Kilcoyne has no opposition in the primary, and will face off against incumbent Democrat Hollis Alexander in the November general election. The deadline to file for the May primary is coming up Tuesday afternoon at 4:00pm.
