Vigil Held For Watson Family

The Muhlenberg County community is doing its best to come together in wake of the tragic fire that claimed the life of a mother and eight of her nine children, and critically injured her husband and surviving daughter. According to a report from WFIE TV, more than 100 people turned out Friday night at Calvary Baptist Church, in Central City, for a candlelight vigil for the Watson family.

The report goes on to say that those in attendance sang "Amazing Grace" and silently held candles in remembrance of the family devastated by Thursday’s deadly fire. Chad Watson and his 11-year old daughter Kylie continue to be in critical but stable condition at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
