Christian County Chamber Honors Small Businesses

A leading national road building company with offices in Hopkinsville was awarded the Commercial Construction Award Tuesday at the Christian County Chamber of Commerce’.s Small Business Awards breakfast. A large crowd was on hand at the Bruce Convention Center as the breakfast, sponsored by Hopkinsville Water Environment Authority, honored 14 area small businesses. Chamber Chairman Spencer Kilijian presided over the presentation of 14 awards to area small businesses. The Commercial Construction Award was presented to Rogers Group, with Lori Harper accepting on behalf of the employees.

Myra Kaye Hancock and Dean Place accepted the Horizon Award on behalf of The Place, a local downtown eatery.

General Manager Derrick Watson says HWEA is pleased to sponsor the Small Business Awards ceremony.
