MLK JR Elementary Interviews Principals

The Site-Based Decision Making Council at Martin Luther King Jr Elementary in Hopkinsville met in closed session Monday afternoon to interview three candidates for the next principal at Christian County's largest elementary school. Tim McGinnis, former Trigg County School Superintendent, is serving as interim principal.

Laura Morris, Council Chairperson and Chief Administrative Officer for the Christian County Board of Education, told the News Edge that she expected the interviews to last four to five hours. She did not know whether personnel action would be taken following the meeting's adjournment.
