Christian County Grand Jury Returns 20 Indictments



The Christian County Grand Jury returned indictments against 20 people Friday, including 4 men accused of raping the same underage girl. Court documents indicate 21 year old Nathan Ray, 21 year old Andrew Scott, 19 year old Jeremy Helzer, and 23 year old James Sowell all of Hopkinsville were each indicted on multiple counts of rape of the same 13 year old girl. Ray and Heltzer were additionally charged with multiple counts of sodomy and unlawful transaction with a minor. The two allegedly provided the victim with alcohol and marijuana or consumed alcohol with her.

The Grand Jury indicted Antonio McGougan and Donald Hurst on Robbery charges for reportedly robbing the Toy Box in Oak Grove. Lucas Back, Wendell Wardell Jr., Jennifer Hadden, and Jennifer Krause were indicted on multiple drug possession and trafficking charges in separate cases. Markisha Quarles and Chad Cook were indicted on theft charges.

Decole Love, Guillermo Martinez, Timothy Brown, Charles Hollowell, and Michael Clark. Kenneth Roberts was indicted for Promoting Contraband. And Donald Kramer is being charged with Bail Jumping.
