Sutton Leaving Lyon County Schools

The Lyon County Schools will begin the search for a new superintendent following the announcement Thursday that Quin Sutton will be leaving to take over the superintendent’s position in McCracken County. WPSD-TV reports that Sutton was selected to replace Dr. Nancy Waldrop, who had previously announced she would retire in June. Sutton has been serving as superintendent in Lyon County since 2008. Prior to that, he had worked as Assistant Superintendent and the Director of Pupil Personnel for the Caldwell County School District.
