Special Called Trigg School Board Meeting

The Trigg County Board of Education will meet Monday morning to discuss options for amending the current school year calendar.
Superintendent Travis Hamby says the special-called meeting will take place at 7:30 am in the central office conference room.  Hamby says he will discuss options with the board that could result in students getting out of school by the end of May.
Hamby says legislation that was passed recently by the Kentucky General Assembly could allow the school district to shave three to four days off the school calendar, while still providing the required 1,062 hours of instructional time for students.
