One Injured In Friday Parkway Crash



A Clarksville man was transported from the scene of a single vehicle accident Friday on the Pennyrile Parkway. Emergency responders were called out to the scene, about three miles north of the intersection with Interstate 24. The News Edge spoke with Deputy James Dragoo of the Christian County Sheriff’s Department on the scene about the accident that injured 38-year old Calvin Mallory, of Darlene Drive.

Mallory suffered serious injuries as a result of the crash. He was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated by Christian County Rescue. He was initially transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center, and then later transferred to Vanderbilt Medical Center, where officials tell the News Edge he arrived in critical condition. The accident occurred around 5:20pm Friday.
