Hopkinsville Police say a Hopkinsville man was treated and released from Jennie Stuart Medical Center following a Saturday night shooting on Bryan Street. Officer Sierra tells the News Edge that 21-year old Jatraevionn Thornton was shot in the right forearm, with the bullet grazing his arm during a disturbance around 11:00 Saturday night. Officers were dispatched to the disturbance at the Bryan Street earlier in the evening, with a large gathering of people at the house.

During the disturbance, reports from police indicate that several shots were fired into the crowd, with Thornton showing up at Jennie Stuart after being shot. Officer Sierra says police do have a suspect in the shooting, with the name of suspect not being released until police obtain arrest warrants.
